collAgen induction therapy
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy or CIT, is a facial procedure that involves creating controlled micro-injuries to the skin. The purpose of microneedling is to stimulate the body's natural wound-healing process, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin fibers.
Before the treatment begins, a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize any discomfort. During the procedure, a pen-like tool with a one-time use cartridge of very small needles is used on the skin’s surface to create the micro-injuries.
The tiny needles create thousands of tiny punctures, known as microchannels, in the skin. These microchannels trigger the body's natural healing response, leading to the formation of new tissue. The process stimulates collagen production, which helps improve the texture and elasticity of the skin. Sometimes called the Fountain of Youth Facial, this is the ultimate anti-aging treatment!

AFTERCARE
After the procedure, you may experience some redness and mild discomfort, similar to a sunburn. However, these side effects usually subside within a day or so. The recovery time can vary depending on the individual skin sensitivity.
Multiple microneedling sessions are typically recommended to achieve optimal results, spaced weeks apart. Additionally, skincare products containing peptides or growth factors are often used in conjunction with microneedling to enhance results and promote skin healing.
