THE BEAUTY SOCIETY POLICIES:
CANCELLATION/LATE POLICY:
We know your time is important. Our staff hours are limited and valuable as well. 

A cancellation fee equal to 100% the booked service(s) will be assessed for appointment changes not received at least 12 hours before your scheduled appointment time. 

A no show fee equal to 100% the booked service(s) will be assessed for "no shows." 

[***Permanent Makeup: Microblading/Shading and Lip Blushing clients must submit appointment reschedule requests at least 48 hours in advance. Changes received less than 48 hours in advance will forfeit nonrefundable deposit and require a new deposit. Cancellations prior to 48 hours without a reschedule will also result in forfeit of nonrefundable deposit.

Microblading/Shading & Lip Blush 8-12 Week Touch-Up clients must submit appointment changes at least 24 hours in advance or a cancellation/reschedule fee equal to $50 will be assessed.**]


If you are running late, please give us a call (not text) and we will try our best to work with you. We do our best to run on time and service all clients punctually. If you arrive to your appointment more than 10 minutes late, our staff reserves the right to reschedule your appointment and a fee equal to 100% of the booked service(s) will be assessed as a reschedule fee. 



CHILDREN/TEEN/GUEST POLICY:

To the ensure the relaxation and safety of every guest:

*Children under 12 are not permitted in The Beauty Society.

*Please do NOT bring guests with you to your appointment that are not also receiving a service unless you have previously cleared this with your service provider. If you bring a guest and they are not able to wait in the car, you will be asked to reschedule and charged a fee equal to 100% of your booked service(s) as we will be unable to fill the time slot.


 

-PLEASE READ BELOW FOR THE SERVICE(S) THAT PERTAINS TO YOU-

Lash Extension Clients

*Please come to your appointment with clean lashes and no eye makeup. Cleaner lashes = longer lasting lashes! If you have less than 50% of your lash extensions remaining OR it has been longer than 4 weeks, you may be charged for a full set due to lash loss/excessive grow out. Please plan accordingly. 
We do *NOT* fill outside lash work. Please book an Outside Work Removal and New Full Set. (Visit our website for more information on this.) If you arrive to your lash appt for a fill with lashes on not done at The Beauty Society, you will be unable to fill them and you will be charged a fee equal to 100% of the service booked.


Facial & Wax Clients

Please reschedule your appointment if:

*You have an active sunburn.
*You have been using topical Retinol or Glycolic, or received a chemical peel in the last 3 weeks.
*You have been using medications that are photo/light sensitive such as topical creams or oral retinol in the last 2 weeks pre-treatment. Accutane must be avoided one year prior to both facial and waxing services.
*If you have an active cold sore/fever blister. You will need to reschedule when the area is completely healed.

*If you arrive to a Facial or Wax appointment with any of the contraindications listed above, we will be unable to provide your service and a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the service(s) booked will be assessed.


Microblading/Shading/Powder Brow Clients

Please adhere to the strict pre-care guidelines listed below:

*No Botox, retinol, glycolic, exfoliation of the brow area, or chemical peels 3 weeks before (or after) your appointment. 
*No ibuprofen, pain relievers, or blood thinners 48 hours before your appointment. 
*No alcohol 24 hours before your appointment. 
*No working out or caffeine consumption the day of your appointment prior to appointment. 
(All listed above except Botox and working out are OK as soon as you leave appointment.)


Permanent Makeup LIP Clients

Please adhere to the strict pre-care guidelines listed below:

*No filler 12 weeks before or after lip blushing/neutralization session.
*No Botox, retinol, or glycolic products around the mouth area, or chemical peels 3 weeks before (or after) your appointment. 
*No ibuprofen, pain relievers, or blood thinners 48 hours before your appointment. 
*No alcohol 24 hours before your appointment. 
*No working out or caffeine consumption the day of your appointment prior to appointment. 
(All listed above except Botox and working out are OK as soon as you leave appointment.)
PLEASE BE SURE TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER AND SCRUB LIPS 2X DAILY FOR 7 DAYS LEADING UP TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. PLEASE TAKE ACYCLOVIR OR SIMILAR ANTI VIRAL FOR 7 DAYS PRIOR IF PRONE TO COLD SORES. 

 

*We will adhere to our normal safety/sanitation guidelines as directed by the State Board of Cosmetology and State Board of Health, but we will also be increasing our cleaning efforts before, during and after services. Please allow extra time for this as we may be running a few minutes behind to be sure that you are safe. Thank you for your patience!

The Beauty Society requires a credit or debit card on file in order to book an appointment. Your card will NOT be charged until your appointment, however you may use a different card or cash in person. The card on file is securely stored with our staff only having access to the last 4 digits. 
AT THIS TIME WE ARE UNABLE TO FILL LASH EXTENSIONS NOT DONE AT THE BEAUTY SOCIETY.  IF YOU FALL INTO THIS CATEGORY, PLEASE BOOK A NEW FULL SET AND AN "OUTSIDE WORK REMOVAL" ($30.)  PLEASE READ MORE ABOUT THIS HERE. 
If you currently do not have lash extensions, please make an appointment for a FULL SET (*not a fill.) All first time appointments for a fill instead of full set will be cancelled due to time restraints required to complete full set compared to fill. THANK YOU!
